Our story
From the UK’s longest-established solar installer to aes renewables today
5.52 kWp
12 panels per home
9 kWh
2 neighbouring households in Invermoriston were ready to invest in solar PV for their homes.
They chose matching systems, creating a simple local story of homeowners taking the same practical step towards renewable energy.
aes renewables installed a 5.52 kWp solar PV system for each home, supported by a SigEnergy inverter, battery storage and backup interface.
Although the systems were the same size, each one was designed around the property it served.
Both homes now have solar PV and battery storage in place, with 12 panels installed on each property.
The project shows how neighbouring homes can make similar choices while still receiving a system planned around their own property.
This project works because it keeps the idea simple: 2 neighbouring homes, matching solar PV systems and a practical investment in cleaner home energy.
It’s a good example of how renewable energy can become part of everyday home improvement planning.
