The brief

The homeowner wanted a cleaner, more efficient way to heat and power their home.

The project needed to bring an air source heat pump, underfloor heating, solar PV and battery storage together, creating a practical system that could support everyday comfort while helping the household make better use of renewable energy.

Our approach

aes renewables installed an 8.5 kW Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pump, supported by underfloor heating to provide steady comfort throughout the home.

A 4 kWp solar PV system was also installed to generate electricity during the day. Battery storage helps hold onto surplus solar energy, so the household can use more of what they generate rather than relying as heavily on the grid.
